It is Los Angeles and the year is 1984. Two figures mysteriously appear one night, both are from the future and determined to change events in the past. One is a cyborg in human form on a deadly mission: his task is to kill Sarah Connor, an unsuspecting young woman whose life will have great significance in decades to come. The other is a hardened young guerrilla fighter determined to keep Connor alive at all costs. The cyborg, known as the “Terminator”, cuts a swath of destruction in his search for Sarah. He is the thing that won’t die in the nightmare that won’t end.
THE TERMINATOR is one of the most influential sci-fi films of the eighties and it still packs a hell of a punch. See it back on the big screen in a stunning new restoration.
