West Cork Crafts in County Cork, was originally formed in 2012 and is a cooperative that has evolved and grown, supporting established artists as well as new and upcoming artists. West Cork Crafts is organised and run by the artists and crafters. Members represent a range of crafts such as woodworkers, soap makers, photographers, silversmiths, textile artists, knitwear designers, felters, metal workers, candle makers, glassworkers, jewellers and ceramicists.
West Cork Crafts pay special attention to the sustainable use of materials. Many of the artists involved create with their hands or use hand tools, fashioning highly specialised individual pieces, as well as offering a bespoke service for those looking for a personalised gift.
