Wild Atlantic Cycling offers multi-day, fully supported cycling holidays from Mizen Head to Malin Head for experienced cyclists. They take care of all the logistics and provide everything you need for a hassle-free cycling trip in a fantastic location.

Wild Atlantic Cycling offers an Ireland end-to-end cycling holiday from Mizen Head, County Cork to Malin Head, Co Donegal. With its rugged coastline, Irish music, unique landscapes and lively pubs along the way, ‘MizMal’ really is something special. The route takes in much of Ireland’s dramatic Wild Atlantic Way and is geared towards reasonably experienced road cyclists capable of daily mileage of approximately 50 miles / 80 km to 90 miles / 145 km.

Route summary

The route is approximately 525 miles / 845 km. Pickup is provided from Belfast, Dublin or Cork. The route takes you along the Mizen Penninsula to Bantry Bay and through the Cork and Kerry mountains. Then continue to Killarney and the shores of Muckross Lake and then north across the Shannon Estuary on the ferry. Visit the Cliffs of Moher and cycle through the unique limestone plateau of the Burren.

On into County Galway, and the shores of Lough Corrib, with a visit to the pretty village of Cong - the setting for the movie "the Quiet Man". Next is Galway City with its fun vibe and enticing old pubs and Irish traditional music. Continue to the pretty town of Donegal before tackling the Innishowen Peninsula with its remote moorlands and vast sea loughs. The finish is at Malin Head - the most northerly point of Ireland.

Then it's a convenient and relaxing transfer back to Derry, Belfast, Dublin or Cork.
