Ballyshannon Folk and Traditional Music Festival takes place in Ireland's oldest town from 30th July to 2nd August. Featuring four days of concerts, free street entertainment, emerging artist showcases, Jam at the Dam and the famous Legend Sessions.

As the oldest continually running folk and traditional music festival in Ireland, this year's program promises an unforgettable celebration featuring a mix of legendary acts, beloved local heroes, and exceptional traditional talent.

Headlining the 2026 festival are sensational acts including The Seeger Sessions, the legendary Frankie Gavin and DeDannan, and beloved Irish singer-songwriter Mundy and his band. The weekend will also see electrifying performances from George Murphy and The Rising Sons, Johnny Gallagher and The Big Box Ceili Band, lively pub sessions, street entertainment, Legend Sessions, our iconic Jam at the Dam, and lots more!
