Beautifully positioned in Portsalon, County Donegal, where Lough Swilly meets the Atlantic Ocean, Carrablagh House - Gardens & Woodland is home to an outstanding garden that dates back to the mid-19th century. The garden is laid out in a classic Robinsonian style.

Carrablagh House - Gardens & Woodland is an outstanding example of a well established country garden, dating back to the mid-19th century. It is set at Portsalon along the eastern cliffs of the Fanad Peninsula where Lough Swilly meets the North Atlantic Ocean in County Donegal.

The garden is an intimate space with a series of pockets throughout the woods and a tiny walled garden. The woodlands are awash with rhododendrons around May each year.

The Garden is a classic Robinsonian garden open on Thursday afternoons in May and the first Thursday in June each year, as part of the Donegal Garden Trail.
