The Emerald Guitars Factory Tour in Cavanacaw, County Donegal, is an opportunity for music lovers to go behind the scenes and observe the creation of the acclaimed Emerald Guitars, established for over 25 years. Also on site are the players suite and Ireland's first guitar gallery.

The Emerald Guitars Factory Tour

shows how the staff craft the guitars by hand from modern and high tech materials. The highly skilled team spend many hours on each guitar, refining every detail to make a guitar that has been designed with passion. They specialise in custom made carbon fibre acoustic and electro hybrid guitars. View the guitars in their collection and hear the journey of each guitar from the dream to its creation and learn about the musicians that play it.

The tour takes you through the cutting department, the veneer library, the mould room, the prep department, the painting booth, the polishing area, the electronics assembly area, the pleking suite and the photography suite.

Follow up the tour with a free session in the players suite, booked separately, where you can try out any of the Emerald Guitars from the collection for yourself. Their team of talented musicians are on site if you require a demonstration. The players suite offers you the experience of the 3D Guitar Builder where you choose a model and start building a bespoke guitar.
