John Joe's Pub (Teach John Joe) in Kilcar, County Donegal, has been a family run business since 1929 when John Joe's own father, John, bought it.

John Joe's Pub is well known for their traditional music sessions which take place every Tuesday. At the weekends they have a variety of music from rock to folk, something for everyone.

Throughout the years, John Joe's Pub has had some famous musicians and singers perform, such as James Byrne, Dermot O'Leary, The Bards, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Dermot Byrne of Altan, Brush Shiels, Joe Burke and Sean McGuire. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the pub has encouraged spontaneous music sessions from local musicians and singers.

The pub serves a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks along with delicious cocktails, with a personal favourite of the owner being the Irish coffee.
