Kinnagoe Bay
Greencastle, Co. Donegal
Kinnagoe Bay is a sheltered cove in beautiful, secluded surroundings on the Inishowen Peninsula.

Kinnagoe Bay is a small stretch of beach enclosed and backed by a steeply sloping hillside. The hillside is covered with low growing mature coastal vegetation. The bay is situated on the east coast of the Inishowen Peninsula, about fifteen miles southeast of Malin Head and four miles to the northwest of Inishowen Head.

A plaque commemorates the wreck of the Spanish Armada ship La Trinidad Valencera on 16 September 1588, discovered here only in 1971.

Approached via a narrow, winding and steep hillside road suitable for passing cars and unsuitable for coaches.
