From 8 May to 10 May, Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal will host a culture and academic programme that celebrates Mícheál Ó Cléirigh and the Four Masters. Informed by the theme: ‘Myths, Legends and Laws’, the three-day event will have something for all ages.

The 2026 Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Summer School will be held over the weekend of the 8th to 10th May.

The three-day event will recognise and celebrate the contribution made by local historian and chronicler, Mícheál Ó Cléirigh and his team of annalists in preserving the ancient history of Ireland.

The theme "Myths, Legends and Laws" will be integrated through a range of activities and events that will engage all interests and ages. Beginning at 18:30 on Friday evening and concluding at 14.30 on Sunday, the programme will included a mix of cultural activities, academic programme and social events that will celebrate our identity through active engagement with our history, music, art, and oral tradition.
