The 2026 Mícheál Ó Cléirigh Summer School will be held over the weekend of the 8th to 10th May.
The three-day event will recognise and celebrate the contribution made by local historian and chronicler, Mícheál Ó Cléirigh and his team of annalists in preserving the ancient history of Ireland.
The theme "Myths, Legends and Laws" will be integrated through a range of activities and events that will engage all interests and ages. Beginning at 18:30 on Friday evening and concluding at 14.30 on Sunday, the programme will included a mix of cultural activities, academic programme and social events that will celebrate our identity through active engagement with our history, music, art, and oral tradition.
