Sea View Garden, Mountcharles, County Donegal, is a unique garden retaining old world charm, overlooking Donegal Bay. The garden is planted with a great variety of herbaceous and shrub borders as well as ornamental trees, so there is always something of interest in bloom.

Sea View Garden is a secluded and peaceful garden where the visitor can sit and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying the beauties of nature. A garden of many parts including herbaceous and shrub borders, ornamental trees and an apple orchard, all planted with great variety to give year round colour and interest.

The garden sits comfortably in its surrounding landscape, facing south with wonderful views over Donegal Bay. Some of the borders are within an old farmyard setting and feature roses and plants from a previous generation. Winner of the Donegal Garden Trail 'Garden of the Year' medal, the garden has also featured in both ‘The Irish Garden’ and the UK’s amateur gardening magazines and is also part of the Donegal Garden Trail. All money raised from the garden goes to drilling wells for clean fresh water in Uganda through the Irish charity 'Fields of Life'. Please phone and the owner will be delighted to show you around the garden when at home.
