Seamus who is a walking guide with Walking Donegal, Falcarragh, County Donegal, was trained by Mountaineering Ireland and has a vast knowledge of the hills in Donegal. He has been doing navigational training both in Falcarragh and Dungloe to teach students how to walk safely in the mountains.
An interest by Seamus in the local history of all the areas where walks take place, as well as the types of wildflowers growing in the surroundings, throughout the seasons, mean that the walks are always interesting.
Seamus who was born and bred in Falcarragh, is a fluent Irish speaker and has been on Radio na Gaeltachta a few times promoting walking.
