The African Gospel Choir Dublin was founded in 2008 by Adeniyi Allen-Taylor. This ensemble of over 15 volunteers blends elements of African gospel, Negro spirituals, acapella and American popular music. The choir’s love of music and joy for life illuminates through their music; they are known to delight audiences with a repertoire sung in English and their native languages. The performance at IMMA features six singers accompanied by a pianist in the Main Reception.
