Fishermen's Folklore and Coastal Foraging walk. Join Nicole of Howth Foraging for the Shucked Up tour one not to be missed, suitable for all the family.

This promises to be a fun filled and learning experience. Nicole will lead you on a guided walk of the beach and Howth harbour. You will learn all about edible coastal plants, what culinary and medicinal benefits they hold. We will teach you how to identity our native and non-native coastal plants. Learning secrets of old, by delving into what fishermen and sailors, used to cure scurvy and nourish their bodies through the hard winters.

Meet the local seals and wildlife. An afternoon not to be missed, you can purchase fresh fish and seafood on the pier and bring your foraged finds home to cook a tasty meal! Please wrap up for the day, warm clothes & waterproof footwear. Bring a bottle of water and small backpack, scissors if you wish.
