Baan Thai Restaurant opened its welcoming doors to Ballsbridge in the Spring of 1998 and continually strives to serve only the best authentic Thai cuisine to be found in Ireland. The restaurant is Thai family owned, all of whom are extremely passionate about Thai food as it is part of their daily lives and culture. This helps to ensure that their clientele will experience the true Thai dining experience.
Baan Thai Ballsbridge is conveniently located in the heart of Dublin 4 opposite the RDS which hosts a wide range of shows, concerts and events. The restaurant can be easily reached within a 10 minute walk of Lansdowne Road or Sandymount DART Station. Baan Thai can also be reached from the city centre via public bus transport which leaves from Nassau St on a regular basis.
The menu has an exquisite selection of authentic Thai dishes that range from exotic Thai curries to tantalising stir-frys, all rounding roast crispy duck, succulent seabass, a wide range of seafood options, some spicy salads, and variety of noodle dishes. Vegetarian options are also available on the menu.
The restaurant has an additional dining room upstairs which is located on the 3rd floor and makes for an excellent private function room for large groups, parties or special occasions.
