Brewery Hops of Ireland began in 2011 in response to the growing amount of craft breweries in Ireland producing quality, flavoursome beers.
They specialise in small group tours that provide the traveller and beer enthusiast with a unique holiday experience. The tour combines visits to the craft breweries for tours and tastings with visits to some artisan food producers, heritage sites and overnight stays in beautiful coastal towns and villages. The accommodation is carefully chosen in small hotels and guesthouses. The tour begins and ends in Dublin with transport in a Mercedes minibus on a fully guided tour.
Tours are 5 days in length along the Wild Atlantic Way route taking in Tipperary, Cork, Kerry, Clare and Galway.
2017 brings a couple of new tours – a 6 day Craft Beer and Whiskey tour which also visits some of the new craft distilleries in Ireland. This boasts overnights in some of the best towns in Ireland for live music, pubs and restaurants like Kinsale, Dingle and Killarney.
There will also be a Northern route tour coming on line in 2017 which takes in breweries in the Northern half of the country with visits to Belfast, Derry, Donegal along with taking in the Giants Causeway and Bushmills.
A day trip runs from Dublin to Wicklow to visit Glendalough in the beautiful Wicklow Mountain National Park including visits to 2 breweries.
A 5 course pairing lunch at Wicklow Brewery always goes down a treat as does the tour and beer tastings at Wicklow Wolf brewery.
