Celebrate James Joyce's birthday at the James Joyce Centre with free admission, walking tours, and more!

James Joyce was born on 2nd February 1882. As a birthday gift, the James Joyce Centre will be open to the public FOR FREE on Monday, 2nd February from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Browse our exhibitions in our beautiful 18th century Georgian townhouse as we raise a glass to James Joyce and to those he brings together.

See the famous door of 7 Eccles Street. Explore Joyce’s Dublin in Modality of the Visible: Ulysses VR. Write your own poetry inspired by Leopold Bloom Bloom, Haiku, and the Turning of Peace. And so much more!

We will also be running our popular walking tours FOR FREE. Booking is required and spaces are limited.

Celebrate with family, friends, and fellow travellers on this special day. Who knows, there might even be a cake.
