Irish and international writing talents bring their latest stories and personal insights to the International Literature Festival Dublin 2026. Bursting with new stories to be heard direct from the writer’s mouths.

One park. Ten days. A world of stories: The International Literature Festival Dublin [ILFD] brings its 29th edition this May with many exciting literary talents attending this year’s festival.

In conversation will be, Colm Tóibín who launches his new work "The News from Dublin: Stories"; actor and best-selling author Richard Armitage, also launches his new book "The Cut", a brilliantly crafted psychological thriller; Doireann Ní Ghríofa's unforgettable polyphonic history and ghost story "Said the Dead"; Russian political activist and writer, Maria Alyokhina, comes to Dublin to talk about her memoir, "Political Girl"; and Tana French launches her new book "The Keeper", the final crime book in her million-copy-bestselling Cal Hooper trilogy.
