Lambay Nature Walking Tours
Malahide, Co. Dublin
Paid car parking
Based in Malahide, County Dublin, Lambay Nature Waking Tours lets nature lovers discover one of Europe's largest private islands. The island is a haven of beauty, peace and tranquility. It is steeped in history and known for its distinctive architecture, nature and wildlife.

Lambay Island is in the Irish Sea, close to Dublin. As a private island, it is secluded and undisturbed by the city's influence. For nature lovers, Lambay Nature Walking Tours gives a rare opportunity to explore the wilder parts of Lambay and see some of the island's incredible wildlife in its natural habitat. Seals, deer, wallabies and puffins can be seen, depending on the season.

Enjoy a 30 minute sail over on the Naomi Leigh boat from Malahide marina with local guide Eamon McGrattan. Eamon will guide you on a relaxed 3 hour walk of the island to see the Lutyens architecture, the Real Tennis court, chapel and the walled kitchen garden. Then you will explore the uninhabited parts of the island and where the unfortunate RMS Tayleur met an early demise in 1854. Enjoy incredible views from the island summit before returning to the harbour for refreshments and time for a dip in the sea on Lambay's private sandy beach.

The trip is 5 hours in total and weather dependent. Your guide will confirm closer to the date once the weather forecast is available.
