The Photo Museum Ireland in Dublin is dedicated to fostering a dynamic culture of photography across a broad range of platforms. This award winning gallery was established in 1978 by John Osman in the heart of Temple Bar and the impressive building was designed by architects O’Donnell and Toumey.

As a hub of contemporary photography, Photo Museum Ireland supports Irish photographers in the ongoing development of their work. They provide exhibition space and work space, including darkrooms, a digital studio and scanning. Paid workshops are taught by artists and available to all.

As Ireland’s largest photography book specialist, the shop stocks an impressive collection of photography books and magazines, featuring works from renowned Irish and International photographers.
