Slow Looking Tour - The Way We Wore: Representations of Social Change through Clothing
Dublin City, Co. Dublin
30 May 2026
Family friendly
Free to visit
Join us for a slow-looking tour of the The Way We Wore exhibition, where our expert guides will explore the history of clothing in Ireland, and in particular, how clothing can be seen as a representation of social change for women in Ireland.

This slow looking tour will take a handful of artefacts on display from the Museum’s collection and take the time to pause, look closely and reflect on the artefacts. It is a gentle-paced and conversational tour that invites attendees to slow down from the hustle and bustle of life to enjoy the Museum in a mindful and relaxed way.

Tours will begin in Reception at Collins Barracks. Booking is not required. However, places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be supervised at all times while on the premises.

Free, no booking required.

Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
