The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the experimental brewery at St. James’s Gate where the Guinness brewers can brew anything they dream up. Consumers can visit from Thursday to Saturday and try a range of experimental beers only available in the brewery and food from the kitchen.
The Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the current incarnation of Guinness experimental breweries which date back to 1904. It's where the brewers are charged with exploring new ideas in beer which they can share in small batches in the tap room. Beers selected for further development are brewed in greater volume in Brew House 4 at St. James's Gate or in one of Guinness's other breweries overseas.
