The LAB Gallery was first established by Dublin City Council as a municipal arts hub, housing a gallery, a rehearsal and incubation spaces for a range of art forms. The LAB Gallery supports emerging art practices and delivers a year round programme of free events for all ages.

The LAB Gallery is located on Foley Street in the heart of Dublin City centre. It is supported by Dublin City Council and the Arts Council. The LAB Gallery is open Monday to Saturday and admission is free.

Exhibitions are selected from proposals and by direct invitation usually eighteen months in advance. The LAB Gallery actively encourage collaboration across art forms and work with artists who are motivated by a strong line of enquiry. Artists Vera Klute, Lee Welch and Bea McMahon had their first solo shows at The LAB Gallery. They also commission new writing with every exhibition at The LAB Gallery and develop carefully curated events and education programmes to provide spaces to look closer, share, enjoy, play, chat, experiment and critically debate art and the ideas inherent in the exhibitions.

Visit their website to see their current exhibition or to take part in special events, talks and workshops.
