On 17th August, 2025, Zakir Khan carved his name into history by becoming the first Indian comedian to perform at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, which saw over 15,000 fans fill up the Arena.
In April 2026 he’s coming to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for one night only with some very special guests!
Zakir’s approach to comedy is anecdotal, personal and heartfelt, and his delivery poetic and rustic at the same time. His appeal lies in his relatability – he has often said he used humor as a shield when bullied as a child, and his stories are punctuated with phrases that have become catchphrases, including the iconic ‘Sakht Launda’.
