The award-winning Athenry Arts and Heritage Centre is set in the medieval walled town of Athenry, County Galway, providing a unique visitor experience. The heritage town is located close to the M6 motorway and is on the Dublin-Galway intercity train route.

An informative audio-visual presentation and storyboards tell of Athenry's unique history, while the centre also houses the town's original mace and seal from 1320.

The adjacent walled garden is home to a maze, herb garden, scenic picnic area, and an archery area, where, with the supervision of trained instructors, visitors can sharpen their archery skills.
