Established in 2005, the Gallery Café Gort has always celebrated the locality through thoughtfully created food and art.

From early morning to late in the evening, skilled chefs prepare pastries, brunch, lunch and a varied dinner menu. Pizzas are a specialty, cooked in a stone oven. Local ingredients are always featured.

The Gallery Café Gort is located in a restored building, exposing the original stone arch in front with a natural well in the basement. The Art Deco interior design takes inspiration from the natural beauty of the building. Seating at the front of the café looks out onto the bustling market square.

The walls of the café are adorned with artworks by talented artists from around Ireland. The exhibition is renewed every four to six weeks and all works can be purchased from the café.
