Galway's famous bustling market has been trading in Church Lane by St Nicholas' Church in the centre of Galway city, County Galway, for centuries. Visitors will find hundreds of stalls selling fresh produce and locally produced crafts. There's a great variety of food available, Madras curry, yummy crepes, Japanese Sushi and mouth watering handmade chocolates among many others or ingredients for a delicious gourmet picnic.
Many people come to Galway Farmers Market to chat as well as to shop and it's a good place to meet the locals and hear local issues discussed. The market is open Saturdays and bank holidays from 8.30am-6.00pm and Sundays 2pm-6pm.
