For three days of the St. Patrick’s Festival (14 to 17 March 2026) there will be family-oriented entertainment throughout the city and Salthill.
Festival highlights across Galway: enjoy the Festival Village in Eyre Square (14–17 March) with free outdoor concerts (indie, family fun, traditional Irish music), plus the Tribesmen Head of the River rowing race (14 March).
On 17 March, don’t miss the St Patrick’s Day Parade and Bádóirí an Chladaigh at the Claddagh Basin (boats, music, poetry). Curry’s Funpark in Salthill opens from 14 March.
