Galway Tour Guides Association are Fáilte Ireland and Irish Tourist Board approved. They are fully trained and qualified guides on all aspects of Irish tourism. The tour guides come from various working backgrounds and walks of life including, historians, tutors, writers, tour operators and archaeologists to name but a few. Many of the Galway Tour Guides Association guides are from County Galway, but they also have several tour guides from various parts of the world, who have made Galway City and County Galway their home.
