Golf at Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate

Set on the banks of Lough Corrib, the scenic Glenlo Abbey Golf Course is situated only 2.5 miles from the city of Galway. Designed by Ryder Cup legend Christy O’Connor Jr, the course has been recognised as one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the Republic of Ireland.

The course offers a challenging experience to golfers of all levels, including a signature 4th hole on an island green. Located on the grounds of the 5 star Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate, the course welcomes visitors from around the world.

Facilities include a 9-hole putting green and a 21 bay driving range with premier fibre mats. Also onsite is the pro shop run by PGA professional Gary Madden. Titleist golf clubs, push trolleys and golf buggies are all available to rent whereas a wide range of golfing equipment is available for purchase.

Glenlo Abbey Golf Club is part of Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate. They are part of the Irish owned MHL Hotel Collection, which in Dublin offers the Westin Hotel 5 star hotel, Intercontinental Hotel 5 star hotel, Morgan Hotel 4 star hotel, Trinity City Hotel 4 star hotel, Spencer Hotel 4 star hotel and the Hilton Dublin 4 star hotel.
