Kilmurvey Beach is located on Inish Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands.

Kilmurvey Beach is a sandy beach located on the northern coast of Inish Mór in County Galway. The area is rich in habitats with several rare plant species listed in the Red Data Book. The birdlife is also known for its international significance.

The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.

Tips from locals

Children will love to see the nearby grey seal colony, you can spot them sunbathing on the rocks at low tide.
