Pádraig Jack – Inis Meáin
12 July 2024
Pádraig Jack O Flaithearta was born into a musical family on the Aran Islands. The son of singer Barry Ronan and nephew of poet Mary O’Malley, he is proud to be writing music in English and in Irish on guitar and piano.

Pádraig’s musical journey extends beyond the studio. He tours regularly in Ireland and the UK, and he’s currently on a perpetual tour in the UK with Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff. Last year, he opened for Damien Dempsey in Vicar St and performed to a crowd of 4,000 in the Iveagh Gardens. In 2023, he toured Wales, the Basque country, and played shows all around Ireland, including at the Doolin Folk Fest and Galway Folk Festival.

Pádraig Jack’s music has been described as having a deeply romantic core, yet he maintains authenticity. His talent shines through, making him one of Ireland’s most exciting artists.
