Rúibín Bar & Restaurant is found in the heart of Galway City, in a beautiful stone building, overlooking the historic docklands. Rúibín is run by owners Alice and Richard, who have spent numerous years travelling and gaining experience, and this is reflected in their cuisine. Their ethos is to focus on local seasonal Irish ingredients, expertly prepared, with influences from around the world.
The restaurant is one of several stone houses and stores built in 1850 beside the newly developed harbour. Next door was once a seaman's home for seamen looking for temporary lodging. The ground floor of the premises was a bar and grocery business in those days. Today the restaurant interior is bright, modern and comfortable.
