Rusheen Bay Windsurfing has a school stocked with modern equipment and their team is made up of water sports professionals. It is located in an enclosed inlet off Galway Bay. Rusheen Bay is surrounded by land and shallow areas.
Lessons in windsurfing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding are available at set times throughout the week. The experienced instructors at Rusheen Bay Windsurfing will teach you how to windsurf, kayak or paddleboard in one hour. Kayak and paddle boarding rentals are available every day between May and September.
All the equipment is provided free of charge. SUP rental includes a board, paddle, helmet, lifejacket, wetsuit and boots. A range of inflatable paddle boards and hard boards to suit everyone are also available.
