Draíocht II – The Alchemy of Music is an evening of passion, power and musical magic. Guest Conductor Christopher George leads a thrilling programme that begins with the youthful sparkle of Mozart's Divertimento in B-flat major, before Bach's exhilarating Concerto for Three Violins showcases the dazzling artistry of soloists Paul Ezerailis, Bogdan Sofei and Ingrid Nicola.
Nothing says emotional intensity as well as Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony in C Minor, followed by the luminous beauty of Nielsen's Underlige Aftenlufte, bringing the evening to a captivating close.
