The Old Mill Shop & Café is open in the heart of Ahascragh, County Galway, at Ahascragh Distillery.

The Old Mill Shop & Café is a charming café serving up tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches. Set in a cosy environment, the café showcases repurposed mill equipment which has been salvaged from the refurbished mill across the road, from where it takes its name. That refurbished mill is now home to Ahascragh Distillery, Ireland's first zero energy emissions whiskey and gin distillery, whose premium spirits and merchandise are available to purchase from the store. For those who would like to taste the whiskey and gin, there is also the opportunity to book a distillery tour and spirit tasting in the shop and café.

Located in Ahascragh, County Galway, just 10 minutes from Ballinasloe and the M6 Dublin to Galway motorway, The Old Mill Shop & Café is open all year round. It is conveniently situated to nearby popular walking routes such as the Hymany Way, the Beara Breifne Greenway and the Clonbrock Estate, making it the perfect choice to grab a quick takeaway on the way to explore the Hidden Heartlands.
