Trá an Dóilín, An Ceathrú Rua is situated just outside the village of Carraroe in County Galway. It is a coral shingle beach set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

When visiting Trá an Dóilín, An Ceathrú Rua in County Galway, from Galway City head west on the R336, past An Spidéil and on towards Casla. Turn left at Casla on the R343 towards An Ceathrú Rua Carraroe. Continue straight through the village and follow the sign for Trá or beach.

Trá an Dóilín, An Ceathrú Rua is known for its fine white coral and clear blue waters which are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. You can also explore the various rock pools along the way.

The beach is lifeguarded during the summer months and you can find more information on the noticeboard located at the beach.
