Tuam Golf Club is a rural 18-hole course with fairways protected by tree plantations and greens that require careful navigation of bunkers. The course has undergone considerable redesign in recent years, challenging the low handicapper while being fair to the less gifted player. With a fairly flat layout, the course plays to a par of 72.

The club was founded in 1904 and includes a clubhouse, incorporating a bar, restaurant, private visitor area, games room, professional shop, and changing rooms. A full bar and catering facilities are available to visitors. New members and green fees are welcome.
