Picture of Painting Class

Dingle Art School was founded by Anne Lundon. Anne was trained by Rod Moore and is a certified Art Tutor. She came back to Dingle from France to set up the Art School, to help others find the joy that she got from painting using a structure.

Discover how easy it is to paint a great looking landscape or seascape painting even if you are an absolute beginner. The exciting part of these classes is that you do not need to be great at drawing to complete the five stages. People stop in their pursuit of painting because they assume that they cannot draw well! What a pity that would have been to miss out on a chance to experience the joy of painting. It is a process where one can become immersed for hours. The unique method of teaching breaks each step down into simple easy to follow instructions to follow along with. It is for the person who has always wanted to learn how to paint great landscapes or seascapes. Now is the time!

Dingle Art School is the place to learn. The easel, apron, five paints, five brushes, canvas, water, and paper towel will all be set up. The budding Artist’s only requirement is to bring themselves to be enthused by the learning experience, take photos of your work and send them to Anne at Dingle Art School for feedback.

So plan your day to included your class which starts at 09:00 and will finish at 11:30. This leaves plenty of time to explore The Dingle Penninsula with lots of tips and a shared experience with like minded souls!

Dingle Distillery is proud to be located on the Wild Atlantic Way - a 2,500km journey winding its way around the west coast of Ireland. Come and see how, and where the award-winning gin, vodka and whiskey, are made.

The Dingle Whiskey Distillery is historic. The scale is modest and it has rekindled the tradition of independent distilling in Ireland. Two hundred years ago this small island had over a hundred officially recognised distilleries but by the turn of the century there were two. When the first spirit trickled from the stills in November 2012 it represented a milestone in the history of distilling in Ireland. Now the unique Dingle Whiskey continually matures in the mild moist climate of Ireland’s south west coast on the Wild Atlantic Way. The first spirits are bottled into a magnificent single malt whiskey.

So forget about straight lines and just join in with like minded people. This class is ideal for beginners and those who have never picked up a brush before. All you need to know, will be explained, how to get started, what art supplies you need including brushes, paints and canvases etc., in order to continue with your new hobby.

Have some fun and hear the anecdotes about Dingle in a relaxed environment and at the same time observe and feel your confidence grow. Walk home with a painting of Dingle from the theme “The Spirit of Kerry”.
