Family friendly
Cloudy days
Sit back, relax and soak in the magnificent scenery, the soaring cliffs, famine towers and all that Dingle Harbour and Dingle Bay have to offer. Your guide will inform you of the many features of the area and share their knowledge of Dingle's seafaring history.

This Dingle Harbour Cruise will take in the breathtaking majestic coastline from the inner Harbour to the outer Bay. As your guide welcomes you onboard feel relaxed and enjoy the sound and smell of the sea air.

Your guide will start by telling you about the pier history, the old boatyard, the old hospital and famine mortuary. See Dingle Town from a new angle as you make your way down the Harbour and hear the story of its people and the way of life in times gone by. You will see Burnham College, Lord Ventry's former home, Eask Tower, ancient cliff forts, the lost village of Reen, Marie Antoinette’s secret escape tunnel and spectacular old red sandstone cliffs up close.

Keep a look out for wild mammals along the way. Fungie the bottlenose dolphin, one of Dingle Harbour's most famous former residents, called these waters home for over thirty years. See wild ducks and guillemots and watch the fulmar petrels soaring along the cliffs and the gannets diving for mackerel with fierce power. It is a true delight.

The sheer magnificence of Dingle Bay with views of Valentia Island, Mount Carrauntoohil (Ireland's highest mountain) and the Blasket Islands to the west: where else would you want to be?
