Listowel, the historic literary and cultural heart of North Kerry, will welcome artists, scholars, and enthusiasts from around the world for the International Day of Celtic Arts Weekend from June 11th to 14th, 2026.
The event will celebrate the enduring legacy and contemporary expression of Celtic art across visual arts, design, archaeology, craft, and related disciplines. Over four days, Listowel will become a vibrant meeting point for international dialogue, creative exchange, and cultural discovery rooted in Celtic traditions. It aims to foster collaboration between artists, researchers and cultural practitioners, while engaging the wider public through accessible events and exhibitions throughout the town.
