Kells Beach is located in Cahersiveen, County Kerry. It is a sandy beach with a small harbour and pier nearby.
Kells is an idyllic harbour on the northern coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula. Kells Beach is located within the Killarney National Park, Macgillycuddy's Reeks and Caragh River Catchment Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA). The beach is also located within the Iveragh Peninsula Special Protection Area (SPA).
The beach has lifeguards on duty during the summer bathing season and lifesaving equipment is available.
