Killarney in County Kerry is a popular visitor destination in Ireland. The Killarney Races provides eleven thrilling days of racing over three summer festivals in May, July and August and an Autumn festival in early October.

Killarney Racecourse in County Kerry is one of Ireland's most scenic racecourses. It is situated within walking distance of Killarney Town centre. The track at Killarney Racecourse is an undulating, left handed oval track with a circuit of approx. 9 and a half furlongs in extent. It is sharp in character, with the turn after the winning post being particularly tight and is a firm favourite among many trainers and jockeys.

Killarney Racecourse has panoramic views of the historic Killarney National Park, Ross Castle, the Lakes of Killarney and the MacGillcuddy Reeks. Primarily, racing is held in the evening time making the racecourse the ideal venue to round off a day of local sightseeing.

There are a number of ticket levels and packages to choose from, whether it is close to the action, general admission tickets or, silver service fine dining and a table for the day. Adult admission tickets will give you access to all you need for a great day at the races, including the viewing stands, public bars and restaurants, the bookies ring and parade ring viewing areas as well as access to live entertainment. Children under the age of 14 are free of charge to attend every race day at Killarney Races when accompanied by an adult.

Killarney Racecourse is just a short stroll from the town centre with ample on site free car parking and a great choice of dining facilities. Killarney has a great choice of hotels, restaurants and night life, coupled with stunning scenery. Killarney Racecourse is a wonderful racecourse to experience some of the best in Irish racing fixtures.
