The Navigator Festival celebrates St Brendan, Kerry's famous seafaring saint as well as the shared maritime heritage of Tralee Bay offering something for everyone, from cultural showcases and local food to thrilling water activities and a procession.
Following on from last year's success of the Navigator Community Festival, the spirit of exploration comes alive once again as Fenit and surrounding communities proudly host the St. Brendan Navigator Festival, an inspiring celebration of heritage, adventure and community in honour of Kerry’s legendary patron saint.
Taking place from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May 2026, with the majority of events centred around St Brendan’s feast day 16 May, the festival pays tribute to one of Ireland’s most iconic voyagers. The St. Brendan Navigator Festival invites locals and visitors alike to reconnect with Kerry’s rich seafaring roots and celebrate the enduring legacy of curiosity and courage that St. Brendan represents.
