The Laurels enjoys a great reputation for its food. Home prepared food is served all day. Lunch is served from 12 noon to 15:00 and the menu changes daily. The fare is comprised of hearty dishes prepared from local produce. Light bites are served from 15:00-18:00m and the night menu commences from 18:00.
As well as dining in the pub, the adjoining restaurant seats 65 people between two rooms for more leisurely dining. This establishment has been recommended in many good food guides including Les Routiers of France, Berlitz and Hidden Places of Ireland.
The Laurels is a family run pub, now in its third generation and along with its open fire, traditional fare and friendly atmosphere, provides a great mingling place for locals and tourists.
