Tig Bhric & West Kerry Brewery is nestled in the rugged landscape of the West Kerry Gaeltacht on the Dingle Peninsula, minutes from the sea on the Wild Atlantic Way.

West Kerry Brewery is located in the garden of Tig Bhric, Bric's Pub, a rural pub operated by the same family since its establishment in the 1890s. Visitors can meet Ireland’s first female micro brewer, Adrienne Heslin, who founded West Kerry Brewery in her garden in 2008. It is County Kerry’s first micro brewery since the 1800s.

Take a tour of the brewhouse with one of the brewers and see the hands on operation where everything from brewing to packaging takes place. Questions are encouraged and the team enjoy sharing their particular brewing process with visitors. This ale brewhouse uses its own well water, Irish barley, fresh yeast and leaf hops.

Why we like it
  • Visit the first micro brewery in County Kerry.
  • Take a guided tour of the brewhouse with one of the brewers and see the processes involved, from brewing to packaging.
  • Enjoy tasting a selection of craft beers in the traditional Tig Bhric brewpub.
