On Saturday 25th April, from 12pm – 4pm, join us for a Hanami Celebration: Mini Japan Day, in partnership with Experience Japan. Set within the Irish National Stud & Gardens, this relaxing afternoon draws inspiration from Hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of appreciating the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms.

With the gardens in bloom, it’s a fitting time to take it all in.

Throughout the day, there will be a mix of cultural experiences for all ages. Visitors can enjoy the rhythm and energy of Taiko drumming, dip into Japanese language tasters, or try on a kimono. There will also be matcha demonstrations offering a taste of Japanese tea culture, alongside hands-on children’s activities.
