Experience the art and craft of beer making as you join Kildare Brewing Company for a tour of Kildare’s first and original brewpub. You will learn about the history, ingredients, equipment and techniques of brewing, as well as tasting the fresh and local flavours of their beers.

Your friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you on a sensory journey, where you will smell, touch and taste the raw materials of malt, hops, water and yeast before you enter the brewery. You will then see the brewing process in action, from the milling room, to the mash tun, to the kettle, to the whirlpool, to the plate heat exchanger, and finally to the fermenters, where the magic of fermentation happens, all the while as you play the role of a brewer.

The tour will end with a tasting session, where you will sample a flight of beers and use your newly acquired skills to describe their aromas, flavours, colours and styles. You will also get to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the brewpub and chat with other beer enthusiasts.
