Kildare Farm Foods Open Farm & Shop, near Kildare Town, County Kildare, is one of Ireland’s zoos that is free to visit. For a fun filled day with the family, interact with friendly animals, enjoy various family activities, shop for farm fresh produce and artisan goods.
Kildare Farm Foods Open Farm & Shop is home to a wide variety of friendly, curious animals scattered around an accessible and buggy friendly facility. Get up close to the animals and have a go at feeding them. At the Teddy Bear Factory, choose a soft and cuddly bear and see it come to life. There are lots of other fun activities including the railroad adventure and indoor crazy golf. In July and August, they run an Organic Farm Tour and Foraging Walk.
A great family day out can be topped off with food in the Tractor Café and a wander around their farm shop.
Entry is free but must be booked in advance. They also host a variety of seasonal events which includes the Easter Extravaganza, Halloween Spooktacular and Santa’s Adventure.
