Its facilities include riverside forest walks, picnic tables, seats and free car park. There is also a tower bridge crossing the river Dinan. There is a riverside walk of about 1.6km at Ballyrafton. The main tree species are native oak woodland, also some ash. The fauna includes otter, grey squirrel and the native red squirrel.
