'Óiche Mhór Féile Naomh Pádraig' i gCill Chainnigh celebrates the songs and tunes of ancient Ireland in the spellbinding acoustic of St Canice’s Cathedral as part of Kilkenny Tradfest 2026. Grammy-nominated sean-nós singer Iarla Ó Lionáird, famed for his haunting voice and collaborations with artists from Peter Gabriel to The Gloaming, leads a stellar line-up. He is joined by acclaimed violinist Aoife Ní Bhriain and versatile Cork pianist and composer Cormac McCarthy.

Supporting the evening is the vibrant The Lady Desart Choir, Kilkenny’s much-loved community choir, renowned for its uplifting, high-energy performances.
